Yoga in the Park 2017

Yoga Classes Guernsey

Starts – Wednesday 14th June (every other Wednesday night throughout Summer) – Please Check the up to date Timetable for that week.

6pm until 7.00pm @ Saumarez Park Infront of the duck pond

£9 drop in, vouchers also accepted (£55 for 6 vouchers, available to use in all Yoga Elements Guernsey drop in classes)

“Join us for the 5th year of the highly anticipated Yoga in the Park 2017. Each summer all levels of students (including beginners), come together to practice Yoga and experience the many wonderful benefits it has to offer. There is nothing quite like practicing with our beautiful Guernsey community in our fantastic outdoor locations. Join us as Katie guides you through a slow flow series of asanas (postures), and then lie back (in Savasana) for a guided relaxation with the sun on your face and the rich grass beneath you”.
What to bring: A Yoga Mat (some spare mats available – limited number), a warm jumper or blanket for relaxation, some water. Please wear comfortable clothes such as T-shirt and leggings/joggers. If you have any specific injuries, it is essential that you discuss this with Katie prior to class.

Join us on the top lawn at the magical Castle Cornet for a very special Yoga Elements Pop Up Class. The stunning panoramic views surrounding the castle are not to be missed!
The space is limited, so please come early to secure your spot, we have a back up weather plan booked in the beautiful Hatton Room within the castle – but fingers crossed for sunshine 🙂

Restorative Yoga Workshop

Today, the need for Restorative Yoga couldn’t be greater. To ‘rest’, to ‘relax’ and to ‘restore’ is essential to everyone especially in today’s western society and stressful lifestyle. To ‘rest’ deeply is to experience absolute relaxation, where there is effortless in stillness, quietness and peace. Join Katie Brock and Angele Plimley on a journey to self nuture, and embrace the opportunity to delve into the full benefits of Restorative Yoga.

How to book?

What level? Restorative Yoga is available for everyone as we will use props to ensure a level of comfort during the practice. However it is essential to ask any questions or discuss injuries or concerns when booking.

What do I need?You will be required to bring your own set of props, or purchase from Yoga Elements (all sold at discount/cost to course students). More details will be sent after booking.

If you wish to purchase any props prior to the workshop, These are available at the Yoga Elements Shop, and can be collected the day of the workshop or before.

“There are not many words that can describe the view at Port Soif where we hold Yoga classes looking out onto the beautiful beach and ocean right infront of you, you have to see it to believe it! Yoga on Cobo Beach 2017

Join us on at Cobo beach (infront of the Rockmount) for a stunning special Yoga Elements Pop Up Class on the sand. Need we say more? What a way to start your day!

What to bring: A Yoga Mat, a warm jumper or blanket for relaxation, some water. Please wear comfortable clothes such as T-shirt and leggings/joggers. Please also bring a small dust pan brush to dust off your mat afterwards! If you have any specific injuries, it is essential that you discuss this with Katie prior to class.

Beginners & Back to Basics Yoga Course (8 weeks)

Monday 11th September 2017 (every Monday night)

6pm until 7.15pm @ Les Beaucamps School Hall

During this 8 week Yoga course, we will break down a select series of asana’s (postures), and study the correct and safe way to be aligned within the posture. This course is aimed at complete beginners or those wishing to re-visit the back to basic’s of Yoga.The ‘asana’ or ‘posture’ is just one part of Yoga. During this course we will also cover breathing techniques (Pranayama), that are useful on and off the mat, Meditation, and some Yoga Philosophy.
